Freddy Joaquín García is a 50-year-old husband, father, and hardworking man from Honduras. He has spent the past several years facing one life-changing health challenge after another, but his most urgent battle is happening right now.
In April 2026, Freddy was diagnosed with retinal detachment and cataracts in both eyes, caused by diabetes and high blood pressure. Without a surgery called phacovitrectomy and Avastin injections, Freddy could lose his sight forever. This is an emergency, and time is running out to save his vision.
