This GoFundMe is being organized to support Freddy Abreu, who is going through an incredibly difficult time. On February 4th, 2025, Freddy returned home from a volleyball league, only to discover that within the two hours we were away, Mario, his husband, had passed away. A few days later, on February 8th, Freddy was taken by ICE, and since then, we have had very limited access to communicate with him. Freddy is currently being detained at the Miami Federal Prison.

Freddy and Mario have always been there for many of us, opening their home and hearts to friends and family. Now, it's our turn to support Freddy in his time of need. I hope we can come together as a community to offer him the help he desperately needs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference. Please give as generously as you can.
