Help Freddie Walk Again – Urgent ACL Surgery Needed
My sweet boy Freddie is a 6 year old mini poodle with the gentlest heart and the most loving nature. He has brought so much joy into my life, but lately, his journey has been filled with pain and challenges.
Freddie has already been through so much. Two years ago, he suffered a torn ACL in his back right leg after someone left our side gate open and he escaped. He came home limping, and what followed was a long, expensive, and traumatic recovery that involved two surgeries and months of rehabilitation, including regular hydrotherapy sessions. Through it all, Freddie was incredibly brave, and I did everything I could to give him the best chance at a happy, pain-free life.
Sadly, at his recent vet visit, I received heartbreaking news. Freddie has now torn the ACL in his left back leg. This means he is once again in pain, struggling to walk, and will require another surgery to restore his mobility and prevent further damage.
This time, things are even harder. My financial situation has changed significantly since his last surgeries, and the cost of another operation, follow-up care, and rehabilitation is beyond what I can manage on my own.
I love Freddie more than words can express. He is my family, my comfort, and my constant companion. I want to give him the chance to run, play, and enjoy his life again without pain. That’s why I’m asking for help.
All donations will go directly towards:
The cost of Freddie’s ACL surgery
Post-operative care and medications
Rehabilitation and hydrotherapy sessions
No amount is too small, and every contribution means the world to us. Even if you can’t donate, sharing Freddie’s story can help us reach more people who might be able to lend a hand.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping my sweet boy get back on his paws.
With gratitude,
Justine & Freddie
