Help Fred & Rosella After Massive Fire

Fred and Rosella Sawatzky, who are my in-laws, have lived in Canada for 31 years, after emigrating from Paraguay to start a new life. Like most of us, they have worked hard their entire lives to build a home and raise a family.
Their passion for motorcycles and their faith have led them to open their cozy home to dozens of travellers on their way north, offering accommodation, food, and mechanical assistance to anyone who needs it, at no cost. Stories such as having up to 26 guests in a single night, having welcomed a traveller in a state near hypothermia and the hundreds of kilos of food that they have offered to their guests, are just a small sample of how much they have contributed to the travelling world.
The enormous fire of March 17th, 2021 completely destroyed Fred’s workshop and also affected the house. The majority of the material items that were lost in the fire are irreplaceable: vintage tools, machinery, equipment, and motorcycles, one of which was Dad's most prized possession.
For this reason and with the purpose that Fred can buy a new motorcycle AND HOPEFULLY REBUILD AGAIN, we open this GoFundMe, so that whoever wants to can make a contribution (insurance will only pay for the damages to the building, but not for any contents that were in or around the building).
It seems to be the best way to return all the love and care they have shared out of the generosity of their hearts, so that they can continue to help others who are far away from home.

Fred y Rosella Sawatzky, quienes son mis suegros, llevan 31 años viviendo en Canadá, después de emigrar de Paraguay para empezar una nueva vida. Como la mayoría de nosotros, han trabajado duro toda su vida para construir un hogar y formar una familia.
Su pasión por las motos y su fé les ha llevado a abrir su acogedor hogar a decenas de viajeros en su camino hacia el norte, ofreciendo hospedaje, comida y asistencia mecánica a todo aquel que lo necesitara, sin coste alguno. Historias como haber tenido hasta 26 invitados en una sola noche, haber acogido a un viajero casi en estado de hipotermia y los cientos de kilos de comida que han ofrecido a sus huéspedes, son solo una pequeña muestra de lo mucho que han aportado al mundo viajero.
El incendio enorme del pasado 17 de marzo destruyó por completo su taller y afectó también a la casa. La mayoría de los artículos materiales que se perdieron en el incendio son insustituibles: herramientas, maquinaria, equipo y motocicletas antiguas, una de las cuales era la posesión más preciada de Fred.
Por este motivo y con la finalidad de que Fred pueda comprarse una motocicleta nueva Y CON LA ESPERANZA DE RECONSTRUIR DE NUEVO, abrimos este GoFundMe, para que quien quiera pueda hacer un aporte (el seguro solo pagará los daños al edificio, pero no pagarán por el contenido que estaba dentro o alrededor del edificio).
Parece ser la mejor manera de devolver todo el amor y el cariño que han compartido con la generosidad de su corazón, para que puedan seguir ayudando a otros que están lejos de casa.
