Help Fred Lay His Beloved Wife Merle to Rest

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Our nonprofit is coming together to help Fred, a loving husband who recently lost his wife of 39 years. Fred left his aerospace career after 38 years to care for her full-time, using all they had to meet her medical and mobility needs. Now, with her sudden passing, he has nothing left to cover cremation or funeral costs. Fred is blessed with two daughters and beautiful grandbabies (who live out of state). He told me, “It’s just me and my dog when the girls are not here.”

He is now considering pulling from his Social Security early just to lay her to rest. She was not eligible for life insurance due to chronic illness. We want to lift that burden so he can grieve and heal in peace.

As we do this, “we continue Isaiah’s light as he lives on through us to bless others.” We believe that through faith and community, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus.
