I adopted Fred from the Oakland Animal Shelter on 8/22/2019. I knew the second I met him that he was my guy. My two other rescue dogs are dog selective, but they loved him right away when we did the meet and greet a few days later. 

As soon as I adopted Fred, I got him insurance. Unfortunately, he woke up on 4/15/2020 unable to put weight on his back right leg.  I rushed him to the vet, and they confirmed me fear- he has a torn CCL and needs TPLO surgery.  I was able to schedule the surgery for 4/22/2020.

Here is where I need your help.  Because he has only had insurance for 8 months, his insurance will not cover the surgery. They have a 12month waiting period for covering torn CCL repair. I’m a college student, and this will be a major hardship for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
