This guy, Fred Silverman, my sister's husband, my nephew's father, my brother-in-law of 33 years, just learned he has Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma.  The week after he lost his job.  He will see an oncologist this week and start the scans to see what stage it is, and what surgeries he will need.  Fred is the kind of guy that would do anything for a friend - or a stranger. He would NEVER ask anyone for help.  But I would (as I have ZERO pride.) So, if you feel inclined to donate to a good cause to help a guy that is now engaged in the battle of his life - my sister's husband, my nephew's father, my brother-in-law of 33 years,  I know that Fred Silverman, and my entire family would be really grateful.
