I'm La'Wonda with Our Mother of Mercy. As many of you know, our very dedicated church member, Mr. Fred Bob, experienced a serious medical situation last week and was in ICU for a few days before being moved to a regular room. Many tests were run and although he was released from the hospital and is now home, it may be a little while before he returns back to work.

On behalf of our Parish Council, which is where Fred serves as a super committed member, we are hosting this fundraiser to help relieve any financial stress before he is released to return to work. As a member of our church, Fred wears many hats. In addition to being a member of the Parish Council, he also serves on the Finance Council, is a member of the Choir, and holds a leadership position with the Knights of St. Peter Claver. He also serves on the Hospitality Ministry and is the person responsible for bringing in the donuts each Sunday. Furthermore, he is usually the person who single-handedly cleans the kitchen in the Parish Life Center long after the donuts are gone.

Please join us in raising $2500 for Fred to help cover some of his personal expenses while he is off work.
