Help Fred B. with his medical bills

Hi, my name is Rachel Hogancamp and I'm a friend of Fred Bertram's and a huge admirer of his fabulous photography and art. He's going through another bout with cancer (as if one wasn't enough!) and has a number of challenges he's facing from larger medical bills to struggles with rent and other monthly expenses. A couple photographers and I wanted to start a fundraiser for him to do all we can to help out at this time. This is what Fred shared with me.

 

The following is sappy but true....my first cancer in 2013 depleted my retirement savings and resulted in my giving up my house. Diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma for which there is no cure 6 weeks ago pits me up against enormous medical expenses and is forcing me to move once again very soon. Any donations will go directly to medical expenses and help me find an affordable apartment.

And more he shared with me - A life ,one artist and nature photographer. I intend to battle through this and continue to be inspired by nature, wildlife and the goodness of people. I look as each day to be a challenge to take to task while learning how to live with this disease. I get great joy in sharing my art and photography to those who have not had the privilege or chance to see the beauty that surrounds us. I am not ready to say "that's all folks"!
