Help Fred and Jacqui Rebuild their Home

Hi,

 

My name is Michael Maggio, a close friend of Fred Sornstein. On September 1, 2021, Hurricane Ida caused Fred and his family to be displaced from their home. The entire contents of their basement, first floor, and yard were destroyed including utilities, appliances, furniture, floors, walls, kitchen cabinets, personal possessions, shed, power equipment, tools, bicycles, and the list goes on. Despite going through the proper channels and making claims with their insurance companies and FEMA, there is an anticipated uninsured loss of approximately $50,000.   To top it all off, Fred and Jacqui are still paying for their mortgage, insurance and taxes on their abandoned house in Lambertville, while at the same time paying rent on thier new house in Stockton, NJ.  The money raised through this GoFundMe account will go entirely to help Fred and his family rebuild their home. Fred and I were roommates back in college, and for those that do not know him that well, I can tell you that he is the type of person that would give the shirt off of his back to help someone in need. That is why I wanted to spearhead this effort to help a friend out. I wanted to thank each and everyone of you in advance for your kind contributions to help a dear friend out.
