On February 27, 2026, my family faced the unimaginable situation of my grandfather Fred being hospitalized for septic shock and a stomach bleed. Unfortunately, he has faced several complications during his recovery process, which have resulted in several hospitalizations, in-home nursing, and physical therapy, and the most recent issue, a toe infection that led to partial amputation of his big toe.

Due to all of these events, my family has had financial hardship with making ends meet. My grandmother, Camellia, has been facing the most financial burden in covering my grandfather's financial responsibilities along with her own. I'm making this fundraiser to hopefully help alleviate her burden in paying bills, groceries, and rent while my grandfather is unable to work and we can get back to some sense of normalcy.

Both of my grandparents had a major hand in raising me and continue to help and guide me daily, so this is the least I can do to give back to them during a time of need. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
