Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers, I'm reaching out for help on behalf of my beloved 5-year-old pit-lab mix, Freckles.

Recently, Freckles was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma, an aggressive and often fatal cancer that affects blood vessels, typically in the spleen, liver, or heart. This diagnosis came after I noticed some unusual masses on his abdomen. Thankfully, the masses are not yet located on his vital organs, but surgery was needed to remove them. The biopsy came back confirming that the masses were caused by hemangiosarcoma.

Unfortunately, Freckles' recovery has been difficult. His surgical site became infected, requiring him to undergo a second procedure to clean the infection and re-stitch the incisions.

Despite all of this, he's still wagging his tail and showing his usual sweet, loving spirit.

I want to do everything I can to give Freckles the best possible chance at recovery. I'm planning to take him to an oncologist to explore potential treatments, but I'm also exploring holistic remedies that may help him fight this cancer naturally. However, both conventional and holistic treatments are costly, and I'm turning to this GoFundMe campaign to ask for your support.
