Help RoboSharks with travel expenses to World Championship
White Lake Robotics is very grateful for our community, school, and business support over the past six years. Because of this AMAZING support, we offer both Middle and High School Robotics at no cost to students.
We set a budget for our 2018-2019 season and fundraised to meet that need. Thanks in large part to a grant from the Arconic Foundation, three of our teams, #8733 RoboVikings FTC, #12821 RoboSharks FTC, and #4956 RoboSharks FRC all advanced to the state championships for the 2018-2019 season!
On Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the state championship, the high school RoboSharks won the Consumers Energy Division qualifying the team for World Championship event! This is the first time one of the White Lake Robotics teams has qualified for Worlds. What a blessing from Whitehall Districts Schools who have agreed to pay our event fee of $5000!
Here's where we need your help. We need four nights lodging for 30 team members. This is an amazing opportunity for our students, so if you are able, please help us in our mission of "Changing lives, one robot at a time" by donating to this travel fundraiser?
Additional White Lake Robotics information: In 2014, we started 1 team with 5 coaches and 13 high school students. Thanks to our volunteers and amazing community support, we now offer FIRST Robotics programs to all students K-12 in the White Lake Area. We have grown to 13 teams with over 50 volunteer mentors and reaching over 130 students each year.
