Franz Bergado is a 20-year old, second-year Medical Laboratory Science college student, residing in Davao City, Philippines.

Franz is an only child who is funly called 'father' by his classmates because he is lovable, humble, and patient. His classmates have been telling him that they are waiting for him to come back to school since they missed his company.

On November 2024, Franz was diagnosed with PLASMA CELL LEUKEMIA, which requires weekly chemo therapy treatment. His medicines, which include Bortezomib, Cyclophosphamide, Denosumab and Daratumumab, are expensive and his daily maintenance medications are financially overwhelming.

Right now, Franz's medical condition has relapsed and the cancer has become aggressive and has developed a secondary skin cancer (Plasmacytoma). Lumps have grown in different parts of his body. His oncologist recommends that he undergo Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant to improve his survival. Franz’s parents, his mother is a plain housewife and his father is a migrant worker, have considerably insufficient financial capacity to personally pay for the prolonged treatments, transplant procedure, hospital and medical bills
