Last year, our family faced a difficult challenge when my sweet girl Franny tore her right cranial cruciate ligament (CCL, the dog equivalent of a human ACL). Through dedicated physical therapy and countless hours of gentle care, we helped her recover and adapt. Her resilience amazed everyone who knows her.

But just two weeks ago, the unthinkable happened—Franny tore her left CCL. Now, my sunshine girl who once zoomed through the park with boundless joy can barely walk without pain. The veterinarian has recommended TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery as the best option for a full recovery, but the financial burden of a second orthopedic procedure has left me overwhelmed.

The Road to Recovery

The TPLO surgery Franny needs costs approximately $6,500, and with follow-up care and physical therapy, we're looking at a total of around $8,000. This specialized orthopedic procedure will stabilize her knee by changing the angle of her tibial plateau, eliminating the need for the damaged ligament.
