Help Frank-Sensei in his fight to KNOCK OUT CANCER
Donation protected
A few words from John Hi, my name is John. I'm a long-time friend and student of Frank-Sensei. I've decided to share this story with everyone as I need help to reach my fundraising goal for Frank in his time of need. I met Frank back in 1990 when he was teaching Jiu-Jitsu at the Allendale Rec Centre in Barrie Ontario and I was instantly impressed with his skills, personality and good nature. It wasn't long before I realized that joining his classes was one of the greatest decisions of my life! We trained hundreds of hours together over the next several years and he became one of my closest friends in my life and remains so to this day. Frank-Sensei has many gifts but his greatest is his generosity. For decades he has taught people of all ages the art of Jiu-Jitsu and more importantly the "Art of Frank." I have never met a more caring person always willing to lend an ear and a hand in every aspect of life. He has dedicated himself to not only teaching others in the dojo but also donating countless hours over the years to people with health conditions and impairments. Recently Frank received the frightening news from doctors that he has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Frank will require prompt surgery to give himself the best chance. Since he is self-employed, he does not have the luxury of company benefits to help cover his monthly bills while he recovers from surgery or the money for medications in his fight against cancer. Any amount you can contribute will be so greatly appreciated. For example, gas to get to and from the hospital in Toronto might be approximately $35 and parking costs are $25 min. All monies donated will go directly to this fundraiser in his name. If you don't have anything to spare, please consider sharing with your family and friends. Thank you so much for your kindness!
