If 2020 taught us nothing, it taught us to cherish our time with loved ones and friends and that the only way to get through this ordeal is to help each other.

We all know many who have fallen ill to COVID-19, but this one hits close to home. Our NATCA brother, ZMA Controller, and friend, Frank Santangelo and his wife need our help. Frank and Christina are both hospitalized due to extreme symptoms of COVID-19. Due to previous, ongoing and underlying medical issues for both of them, they are currently not receiving pay and have exhausted any paid time off to cover their leave.

Frank is an Air Force Veteran, where he served as an Air Traffic Controller, before being hired by the FAA.  His career started at ZOA, before he transfered to TMB and now calls ZMA home. During his time at Tamiami, he was the FACREP and VP for multiple terms.

We are asking for your help to support our NATCA brother and his family as they fight daily to recover from this virus. Please keep them both in your thoughts and prayers.
