It is with a heavy heart that I have to make this go fund me for my son Franklin, as our lives have been turned upside down. Just a few weeks ago I received the most unthinkable news. My son has a battle to fight, a battle with Cancer.

    My 12 year old son has  been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer called Pineoblastoma. After finding out that he had a brain tumor on January  29, 2021 , He was transferred to St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital where he immediately underwent surgery to release the fluid that was surrounding and putting pressure on his brain. A biopsy of the tumor was done and  on February 15,2021 I received  the news that the tumor was indeed cancerous and he was already in stage 4.

Franky is strong and he is a fighter. He has blown me away with the way he’s handled the first surgery but he still has a long road ahead of him.
Franky will soon receive brain surgery followed by radiation and chemotherapy paired with stem cell transplant.
Like many people dealing with this type of situation our health insurance will cover most but not all of the expenses for his treatment.
This battle will affect our family on so many levels. Aside from medical bills I am single mother of 3 that still has to maintain my living expenses while being out of work due to my sons condition . I’m making this fundraiser to ease the great financial burden , so that I can focus all my efforts on Franky’s treatment, healing and to be able to spend precious time with my son. I want to help alleviate some of the day-to-day financial pressures that will mount during this critical time.
 All of this unfolded in just a few weeks resulting in incredible shock to the family and we are trying to process it as best we can.
