Help Franklin Get the Surgery to End His Chronic Ear Pain
Story:
This is Franklin. He is my sweet, stubborn, hilarious rescue Frenchie, and he has been the greatest comfort and companion during a very difficult chapter of my life.
Franklin came to me with a damaged left ear that folds over and traps moisture. For months, he has been fighting a painful, chronic ear infection caused by a resistant bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa). We have tried everything—oral antibiotics, medicated drops, and daily cleanings— the infection never clears and causes him pain, odor, bleeding and inflammation.
My veterinarian has now confirmed that the only way to resolve the infection and stop Franklin’s ongoing pain is a surgery called a PECABO, which removes the damaged portion of the ear canal and clears the infection permanently. Without it, the infection will continue to worsen and cause ongoing pain and further complications.
The surgery costs $3,600, not including post-op care and medication. I have already been paying for ongoing vet visits and treatments since February, and I simply cannot shoulder this surgery cost alone and I have reached the limit of what I can manage on my own.
So I am asking for help — with humility and with hope — to give Franklin the relief and healing he deserves.
If you are able to donate, share, or simply send love for Franklin’s healing, I am deeply grateful. Every single bit helps.
Thank you for helping my little guy feel safe and pain-free again.
With love,
Jennifer and Franklin
