Help Fund My Teaching Year And Help Me Advocate Why Creativity Matters.

For the last 35 years, my primary role was being a loving mother to six children. Now they are grown, and as I transition into this new place in my life, I feel a little lost. My focus is entirely dedicated to the world where I feel most aware, my art studio and teaching others the power of creativity through painting and drawing.

As the kids were almost all grown, I tried to find my footing as a Real estate Agent. While I think it is a great way to earn a little bit of money, I have learned that it is a dog eat dog world and without the right support you get eaten alive. It's not a safe space a lot of the times either and I just can not compete or thrive in that environment, but I do in teaching art to others.

Today I am asking you to be a patron of this new beginning. It isn’t just for me, but for all of the future students, no matter how old, I hope to reach through my classes.

For the past 15 years, I have experience teaching children ages 4 to adults up to 80 years old. At this moment, I teach a 1.5-hour art class at my local museum once a week.

To fully launch my new chapter and teach regular classes out of my own studio I need one year of help. I have already secured a small studio space.

I am asking for help with:

• Rent for my studio space, where I will host classes.

• Essential materials (extra easels etc.) to launch my first set of classes.

• Marketing expenses.

You are not just helping me but you are becoming a founding patron of a space where people learn how art helps them be their best selves and they can use it as a tool for healing, clarity, how to embrace mistakes, patience, problem solving, a way to deal with what they consider failures and genuine connection.
