Frankie is my two year old cat and my best friend. We’ve been through so much together, and he brings so much joy and comfort to my life. While I was away on vacation, Frankie was staying with his grandma, who was caring for him. During his stay, he accidentally swallowed something he shouldn’t have. Suddenly, he became very sick, couldn’t keep food down, and was clearly in pain. After rushing him to the vet, I learned he had a blockage and needed emergency surgery to save his life.

The surgery was a success, and Frankie is now on the road to recovery, but the experience was terrifying and overwhelming. As a 26-year-old master’s student, I’m doing everything I can to give Frankie the care he needs, but the vet bills have become more than I can handle alone. I’ve already paid as much as I can, but the costs are immense, and I’m struggling to find a way to cover everything so Frankie can stay healthy and happy by my side.
