Help Frankie Get Life-Saving Surgery
Donation protected
Hey, everyone! I’m fundraising on behalf of my sister for her kitten, Frankie. Frankie is an 8-month old baby who came into our lives after being rescued by the Oxford County Animal Rescue. Frankie and his sister were found with their deceased mother who had been hit by a car when they were less than a month old. Despite his difficult start to life, Frankie is the biggest love bug and perhaps the goofiest bundle of pure energy. He loves toys, climbing, and his big brother Oliver.
On 22 February 2022, Frankie was taken to the vet because he wasn’t seeming like his firecracker self. It was there that we learned Frankie has significant bladder stones and a likely obstruction in his tummy that cannot be diagnosed without exploratory surgery. If untreated, our vet has said that Frankie is a ticking time bomb.
My sister (Frankie’s fur mama) is the hardest working person I know. She provides the best life to Frankie and his brother Oliver, and does everything she can to keep them both happy and healthy. As a recent grad, as well as the caregiver for Oliver who is a special-needs cat, this emergency surgery has come as a complete surprise and financial stress.
I’m asking and begging friends, family, and fellow animal lovers to help by contributing whatever they can. Be it $1 or $15, anything helps us save the life of our beloved Frankie.
