Help Frankie get a Epimonitor for Epilepsy.

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Catherine I’m fundraising for my son Frankie is nine years old, he has Autism, Global development delay, Speech and language delay and a genetic condition DDD. He has also been suffering with seizures since he was 8 months old and has tonic clonic and nocturnal epilepsy. This used to be managed with medication but now the medication is having less affect in controlling the seizures he experiences and they are becoming more severe. Due to Frankie’s Autism and global development delay Frankie is severely developmentally delayed and his language and understanding is very limited which means he can not recognise the signs that he is about to have a seizure or communicate with us that he is feeling unwell. Therefore we are hoping to help him by getting a epimonitor, which will enable use to detect seizures before they become severe and help alarm us when they are about to happen so that we can help Frankie. This equipment is expensive and we don’t have access to these funds to fund this right now so are asking if anyone would be able to help us if they can.

Frankie has been through so much and had numerous hospital stays and been poorly due to his seizures and it can take days for him to recover from them. It would mean the world to us to be able to give him the tools to help us support him and better manage his health condition whilst he is unable to communicate his need for help or how he’s feeling with others

Any help would be amazing and greatly appreciated.
