Frankie was rescued after being abandoned in a parking lot. I think he was about 5 years old at the time, and he’s been with me for 9 years now. Through the loss of my other two pets—one of whom just passed away in January 2026—Frankie has been my constant companion and source of comfort. He’s my heart and soul, and I will do anything to save him.

Recently, I took Frankie to the vet because he couldn’t seem to hear anymore and was experiencing increased anxiety. During the visit, the vet felt Frankie’s lymph nodes and found that all of them were enlarged. After performing a cytology, the results came back positive for lymphoma. I took Frankie to his first visit with an oncologist, and the reality of his diagnosis has been overwhelming. Treatment is expensive and was completely unexpected.
