Hi friends,
This is Frankie, one of my foster kittens. She is fights to survive, daily.
Frankie was diagnosed with severe Pectus Excavatum, a congenital condition where the chest wall caves inward and compresses the heart and lungs. In Frankie’s case, it’s affecting her ability to breathe normally, and her veterinary team has recommended urgent corrective surgery to give her a chance at a full, healthy life.
Because her chest is still developing, this surgery needs to happen ASAP. Waiting could mean her lungs and heart don’t have room to grow… or worse.
The estimated cost for surgery alone is $7,300, and that does not include her aftercare.
As a foster, I take on these babies knowing the emotional commitment, but this level of medical care is beyond what I can cover alone. I’m asking for help so Frankie doesn’t lose her chance simply because of cost.
If you’re able to donate, share, or even just send Frankie some love, it truly means everything. Every dollar goes directly toward her surgery and recovery, and I’ll be sharing updates every step of the way.
Frankie deserves the chance to breathe easily, play freely, and grow up knowing nothing but love. Thank you for being part of her fight.
