Help Frankie Beat This!
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends of Sgt. Frank McManus,
I know we are all saddened to hear the recent news of Frank McManus’ diagnosis of Stage 3 Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma (Head and Neck Cancer) of the throat. As you may know, he started with radiation and chemotherapy in December and will continue this battle for some time to come. His wife Grace, who has dedicated years to helping other families with the start of Creek Hope for other CCPD family members like Susan Mullin, never imagined she would find herself in a similar situation for her husband. We’ve been speaking to Grace since she emailed the department with the news and although she only asks for prayers for Frankie and the family, we can only imagine how hard this must be for them mentally, physically, and financially. Let’s come together to make a few things easier for them so they can focus solely on what’s most important- Frankie getting through treatment and recovering.
The donations will assist the family with mounting medical bills that insurance doesn’t cover, prescriptions, in-home care, equipment, and more to help make his treatment more manageable and his recovery simpler. I am appealing to the hearts and kindness of all his family and friends. I am confident that we can show this family that they mean the world to us and they have our support.
Thank you all for your compassion and generosity,
