Thanks to the kindness of friends, they were able to get another vehicle, but because they did not have insurance at the time of the accident, they are now left with a hefty bill they cannot afford. Frank’s license was suspended, and Yolanda is unable to drive due to her disability. Both are on a fixed income, making it impossible for them to cover the down payment required by the insurance company so Frank can get his license back.
