Help Frank with medical care

Frank is my husband for almost 16 years now. For 10 years of our marriage Frank has been in and out of many hospitals. In 2011 he had a seizure that burst fracture his T-12 into his spinal cord. He underwent back surgery in May 2011 all was going well till they told him that, his hardware and cage that they had put in had shifted. He had another surgery in July 2011 to fix it, it didn't go well. From 2011 to 2014 he had multiple infection and was hooked up to a wound vacuum. He went sepsis twice and to took a helicopter ride to Parkview medical center were he stayed for over two months in 2011. Due too many infections and sepsis he had complications that caused a growth on his aortic valve that was flaking off and going into his blood stream and causing him to have mini strokes that infected his eyes. He took another helicopter ride to Parkview for his heart. In July of 2016 he had surgery to replacement his aortic valve. 2021 July Frank took another helicopter ride from Canon City (we were there for his daughter's swim meet) to Colorado Springs Penrose hospital where he today. Doctors are trying to figure out what is causing him to have low oxygen level and fluid build up around his lung, heart and legs. As you can imagine this has been very costly to our family with multiple trips to the hospital and doctor's office. Also 3 trips for flight for life (which are not cheap). We have been struggling with medical bills since 2011. We are asking for help paying his medical bills and travel expenses since he insurance includes Medicare ( does pay very well for claims and we have to meet deductible first) and VA insurance ( VA pays very little).

My husband served his country for 4 years as a Marine and 16 years in Army National Guard. He was deployed with the army national guard to Iraq where he served in operations Dessert Storm and Dessert Shield.

We are raising two resilient kids as we go through this journey together. Antonio is 15 and has ADHD and is working to over coming it. He has stayed busy at school with sports (basketball, football). Also FBLA, FFA, and was named Santa Fe trail King this year. Our daughter Olivia is almost 13 and just finished 6th grade and will start Jr high in August. She also has kept busy with sports (volleyball, basketball, swimming this summer). We Frank first got sick we promised ourselves that we would keep the kids schedules to close to normal as we could.

We have been struggling with medical bills since his first hospital stay. We have been doing this on are own since 2011. We are now asking for assistance because it has become to much, with this new ambulance, 2 hospital bills (Canon city and Colorado Springs Penrose hospital, and flight for life ride. We can't do it on our own anymore.
