My name is Frank, and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I was evicted from my home and have been doing my best to lead a life that my 12-year-old son would be proud of. Right now, I’m living in a group home, sharing a room with strangers. My son can visit but no overstay visits are allowed and no visitors including my son, past 10 pm even on weekends . My insurance doesn't cover transportation to the doctor, I need Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy . My fixed income allows me just enough to stay here, but it’s a far cry from the stability and comfort I want for myself and my son. Without this place, I would be homeless and in my wheelchair, facing even greater challenges.
My greatest hope is to raise enough money to have my own apartment again. More than anything, I want to be able to share my weekends with my son in a space that feels like home. Your support would help me move toward that goal—giving me the chance to rebuild, regain some independence, and create new memories with my son. As awkward and embarrassed as I may feel reaching out for help, knowing I may never be able to return your help, I know I will be forever indebted to your kindness. Thank you for reading my story and for any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my fundraiser with others.
