UPDATE:
Jordy & Mike with Dogboken deserve all the love & praise in the world. The way they protected him & fought to get him out of that situation literally saved his life.
We had an appointment for tomorrow for frank to have surgery & get his drains out. On the back of his neck he has some deeper wounds, one starting oozing and didn’t look right so we took him to Bond Vet at 5pm.
The doctor felt inside the wound on the back of his neck and felt some pocketing requiring a drain to be placed. Hopefully tomorrow during surgery he gets his existing 2 drains removed. We have at minimum 2 more surgeries including the one tomorrow. Please send all your prayers Franks way. You have touched our hearts and we can’t thank you enough
If you’re able to donate or share it would be so helpful we have a long road to recovery
——————————————————————————
Our sweet Bernedoodle, Frank, was violently attacked while on a routine walk near ShopRite with his dog walker. Three unleashed Cane Corsos ran up and mauled him without warning.
Frank suffered severe injuries to his neck and leg. He required emergency veterinary care, including surgery, two drains placed in his neck to manage deep puncture wounds, and countless stitches. The trauma to his neck was extensive, and his recovery will require ongoing monitoring, medications, follow-up visits, revision surgery and wound care.
Frank is not just a dog — he is family. He is our constant companion, our source of comfort, and the happiest, gentlest soul. Seeing him in pain has been devastating.
We are doing everything we can to give him the best possible care, but the emergency treatment and continued recovery costs are significant. We are also going to give money to our brave dog walker. If you are able to contribute, any amount will go directly toward Frank’s veterinary bills, healing process and Dogboken. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
Thank you for helping us get our sweet boy back to full strength. ❤️
