Help Frank Fight Colon Cancer

Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am Frank Parillo’s daughter, Arista, and am reaching out to all of you for help with my dad’s medical treatment. Earlier this year, Frank was diagnosed with colon cancer and we have all been grappling with what this will look like for him. Aside from the emotional toll a diagnosis like this takes on a family, the financial burden is incredibly overwhelming. With this diagnosis, my dad has been unable to work and will not be able to return for the foreseeable future. He is set to have surgery in the coming weeks and we are all hoping for a very positive outcome. Any and all help is so incredibly appreciated, so thank you if you have even taken the time to read this far.

A little bit about my dad for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of getting to know him yet. He has done a wonderful job of raising his two kids, myself and my brother, Michael. There has never been a day where we didn’t feel supported by him in any choices we have made. My dad has always been a hard worker and some of our fondest memories with him are splitting firewood down at his “yard” and him paying us for our efforts in Quickchek sandwiches. Every summer he enjoys going crabbing with us and is always willing to untangle our cages without complaining. In 2022, I had the privilege of walking down the aisle with him and being privy to a one-of-a-kind off the cuff dad speech at my wedding reception that went a little something like, “Never stop dreaming, and when you have reached your dreams, dream bigger.” My dad has been loving his granddog, Gus, and I will admit that my dad is Gus’s favorite male human. The love my dad has shown this dog is something I didn’t expect, but that has pleasantly surprised me. He has passed his love of sports onto Michael and this is something the two of them have bonded over. The pride my dad showed at Michael’s Marine Corps graduation is something that will stay with us for a long time. My dad has always encouraged us to follow our hearts and do what makes us happy, and screw everyone else that has a problem with that! He has truly blessed the people that know him. We are all looking forward to creating many more memories with him. He has put his strongest foot forward with all of this and it would be so appreciated if we can all join in supporting him through this journey.
