Help Frank beat Stage 4 Cancer,
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Kathy Blancato, I am raising funds for my husband Frank (age77) he is battling Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma that has already metastised to his lungs. The medical costs have soared, we already took a loan on a credit card to finance some copays already. The money will be used for copays, travel expenses, living expenses and to maintain our home in Tennessee.
In October 2023, a CT Scan showed an Aorta Annuerism in his lower abdomen, a 10 cm Carcinoma in his left kidney, and a skin cancer. He has had one surgery to repair the Aorta Annuerism with stents. Frank recently had another CT Scan and needle biopsy of his lungs, there are 6 Tumors in left Lung and 7 in right lung. All these diagnosis' came within a few weeks.
We uprooted our lives and moved from our home in Tennessee to NH to get better care at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Lebanon NH. and to have family around. We are still paying bills for our home in Tennessee while struggling to stay here for treatments.
Frank and I are together now 58 years and this is the toughest battle yet. His favorite Elvis song, Lord This Time You Gave Me a Mountain. has come to be.
He has always been the happy, joyous husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother to our whole family. Franks gift to us all is his sense of humor ,putting a smile on someones face, a loving prank to entertain and bring tears to our eyes. He is a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and has never asked anyone for anything.
The entire family and friends love this man , he has given them so many good times and cherished memories. He has done so much for so many.
Now, the clock is ticking and we need help. The medical costs, the traveling, the maintenance of our home in Tennessee , and the challenges we face, have become overwhelming.
Frank has at least 8 more treatments and a potential surgery to remove one kidney. And possibly more treatments after surgery. Currently he is scheduled for Chemo treatments thru May, so the road is long.
Please rally around this amazing guy and let him know he is not alone. Please share his story and contribute whatever you can so that we can continue to fight this cancer. The smallest contribution can help us reach our goal and we thank you for your support at this challenging time.
Thank you for your prayers, kindness and generosity.
