Corton & Carlton Colville FC are appealing for financial help with their player Frank Samuel. On Sunday 16th February this year CCCFC were playing a league veterans football match where a clash of heads from a corner lead to Frank having a seizure and being rushed to Addenbrookes hospital. Where he is currently waiting an operation requiring a plate fitted on his skull.

Thankfully the current outcome seems good for Frank, but whether he can play football again will be at hands of medical team. But he faces weeks off not being able to work, also a financial burden of travel to check up appointments etc when discharged.

As a club we are trying to raise some money to help the burden on him and his family.

To anyone who doesn’t know Frank, he is an amazing, thoughtful and caring person. Always helping others at football on and off the pitch. He has only been at the club 1 season and already loved by all that knows him. He is a credit to our club.
