Help Frank Arreola Heal After Tragic Accident

Donation protected
Hello, I've been given the privilege of being able to set up this GoFundMe account for Frank Arreola to help him have money to support his family after he was in a car accident on January 2nd. He was stopped in the left turn lane and he was hit from behind by someone driving 80 mph. His injuries are pretty extensive as he broke his back, left arm, and left knee. He also had two brain bleeds. I had the honor to hold his hand in the Emergency Department when we turned him over so they could staple his laceration on the back of his head. I will be honest with you, seeing this amazing man be in so much pain, and to have to be a part of log rolling him so they could work on him was not easy. So after he was settled on his side, I grabbed his hand so he could focus some of his pain onto squeezing my hand. I have asked him if I could share all of this here as I wanted to be able to show you how amazing he is. He was Life Lighted to Portland where he stayed for a couple of days. He's going to be traveling back and forth to be able to see his surgeon to see what they are going to be doing about all of his injuries. At this point, he's still arranging all of his doctor's appointments and such. He is home now but has been having a really hard time controlling his pain. I'm going to be taking over the wheelchair and other equipment that I have from when my husband got into his accident to his house today.

He keeps saying that I have been a Godsend, but this feeling is both ways. Frank has been one of my closest friends since I moved to Hermiston. He greets everyone he comes in contact with a smile. He brightens up my day every time that I see him. Everyone has said that he's an extraordinary person that would give the shirt off of his back. So now I'm asking all of you to help him during his darkest days. Please contribute if you are in a position to help support him and his family. Please share this GoFundMe on your Facebook feed so that we can come together and help take the financial burden off of his shoulders. I will also have a Venmo link either in this post or connected to my Facebook post. I also was honored to meet his wife that day. I gave her my number and told her to call me if I could help at all. She seems to be just as amazing as Frank is, so I feel blessed to be able to help them.

Frank has a long, hard road back to recovery, but honestly, it's going to be a struggle for Frank to not overdo things. He is already doing exercises as he wants to be able to keep his strength up. I'm trying to help him get connected to all of the doctors, specialists, and other important modalities he needs to have to help him heal as fast and strong as possible. I will try to keep this updated with all of his incredible progress as time goes on.

Thank all of you for your time and consideration during Frank's recovery. Thank all of you for sharing this GoFundMe as well. It takes a village to support someone like him when he's in need. He would do it for anyone that he knows, so thank you for being here for him.
