Help Rebuild Frank & Sandy’s Home After Hurricane Milton
Our dear friends, Frank and Sandy Alward, have always been the first to offer help to others in need. Now, after losing their home to Hurricane Milton, it’s time for us to give back to them in their moment of need.
The Heart of Our Community
Frank and Sandy are more than just neighbors or family members—they are the heart of our community. Whether they were cooking meals for friends, offering a helping hand, or simply being a comforting presence, they’ve touched all of our lives with their kindness and generosity.
The Devastation of Hurricane Milton
When Hurricane Milton hit, it didn’t just take their home—it took a lifetime of memories and hard work. Just a week before, they were already recovering from damage caused by Hurricane Helene, which flooded their home with six inches of water. Despite this, Frank and Sandy immediately began repairs—tearing out drywall, purchasing new appliances, and preparing to rebuild. But Milton’s storm surge was far worse. With four feet of water flooding their home, they’ve lost nearly everything.
No Insurance, No Home
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that they had no insurance to cover the damage. Everything they worked so hard to rebuild after Helene was destroyed in an instant. Now, they are left without a home and are facing the enormous challenge of starting over with nothing.
Why We’re Asking for Your Help
Frank and Sandy would never ask for help themselves, so we—friends and family—are doing it for them. They’ve spent their lives giving to others, and now it’s our turn to give back. We know how much they mean to so many of you, and we believe that together, we can help them begin to rebuild their lives. This was created by close friends and their immediate family.
How You Can Help
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Frank and Sandy with temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, and eventually rebuilding their home. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with your friends and family will also go a long way.
