Help Frank and Mary Blakemore rebuild their home
Donation protected
Hi, I’m reaching out for any kind of help or any kind of assistance for Frank Blakemore’s parents. He is a volunteer for the Horseshoe Lake Fire Department and always tries helping out others when he can. On Sunday, March 14, 2021, Frank and Mary Blakemore’s house caught fire and the inside was destroyed. She was cooking some fries that day and the grease spilled and started the fire. Luckily Frank and his buddy Jerry were outside working and his dad was able to yell out to him. When he got inside his mother had fell in the floor so he had to drag her out. She was burned some and so was he. Thankfully, they all made it out okay and they have received medical care for their injuries. They are an elderly disabled couple so they live on a fixed income. Unfortunately their insurance had lapsed a few years ago when she was sick dealing with cancer getting treatment as it slipped her mind and they never got it going again. He wasn’t aware of this or he would have insured they had it covered. With that being said, they need to rebuild the inside again so they can have a place to live. At this time they are staying at a friends home. They will need all household essential items along with appliances. If you are able to help out any way they would really appreciate it. They hate to ask for anything but at this point unsure what else to do. If you aren’t able to donate then please at least SHARE this. Any prayers would be appreciated as well. Thank you
