Help Frank and Linda Recover After the Fire
Donation protected
I'm David Clifford, and I'm reaching out to help a beloved family who just lost their home of 56 years in the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena. This campaign is to support them as they recover from the devastation, offering the love and resources they need in this difficult time.
Frank White’s story is one of resilience, love, and dedication. In 1969, shortly after his service in the armed forces in Korea, Frank began renting the house on Altadena Dr. Five years later, in 1974, he bought the house, marking a new chapter in his life. Now, at 80 years old, Frank and his wife, Linda, were hoping this home would be their nest egg—a place to enjoy their golden years. However, the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena left them with nothing but a single suitcase between the two of them.
Frank and Linda mean the world to me. Our friendship grew after my father, Tony, who was Frank’s lifelong friend from adolescence, passed away in 2006. Frank and Linda have always been there for me. They didn’t ask for this GoFundMe campaign. I am creating it because Altadena is a place I hold close to my heart—my sanctuary throughout high school, college, and when my daughters were young. I am creating this account because I love Frank and Linda.
I’m reaching out to you because, like me, you may feel helpless, crushed by the devastation of this fire. Give what feels comfortable for you, and know that every bit counts in supporting Frank and Linda get back on their feet. Thank you for your love and support.
