Hi my name is Briana and I am fundraising for my brother Frank. Frank is married to his lovely wife Dina and they have two daughters, my beautiful nieces, Mya and Karinne. Frank, my only and younger sibling, has recently been diagnosed with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine cancer. There are no words to describe the helpless feeling one has when a loved one is diagnosed with such an illness. I decided this is the best way that I can help them at this time, by raising funds to help cover medical expenses that may not be covered by insurance, lost work during his time off for surgery and then the chemo therapy that follows, travel expenses incurred having to travel for the surgery and chemo and any other expenses this difficult journey adds. If you can contribute any amount to help my brother and his family it would be so much appreciated. I know everyone is not always in a position to donate monetary funds but if you can at least share this, perhaps there will be someone who can. Prayers in his behalf are always welcome and appreciated. Frank has a type of pancreatic cancer that makes up only 2% of pancreatic cancer cases, they are a less common type of pancreatic tumor (cancer) but tend to have a better outlook (prognosis) than the more common type. Surgery is doctor recommended asap to avoid spread. We are hopeful and prayerful that he can beat this.
