Francisco Guerrero has always been the kind of person who looks out for others. Paralyzed since he was 18, he has faced life’s challenges with strength and compassion, never hesitating to help those around him. He lives in Blythe, California, and is my brother. Recently, our family faced a devastating tragedy: Francisco’s house caught fire and burned down, taking with it his wheelchair, his car, and all of his personal belongings. In the chaos, a police officer had to drag Francisco out of the house to save his life. While we are so grateful he survived, he has lost everything he depended on for daily living and independence.

Now, Francisco is left without a home, a way to get around, or even the basic essentials. The funds raised here will go directly toward helping him rebuild—providing a safe place to live, a new wheelchair, and transportation so he can regain his independence.
