I'm doing this on behalf of my dad Francisco Rodriguez who is 70 years old and has suffered a heart attack. His previous medical history means that this is more serious.  Now if this was in Europe, help would be provided.

Unfortunately my dad is still back in Venezuela. Therefore things work a bit different there. The monthly salary is just $3. Just staying at hospital for a night rounds up to about $1000.  He has currently been in hospital for 3 days and requires an urgent cardiac catheterisation with a possibility of a stent which costs $3000. 

As you can see the costs just keep on adding up and me and my family are currently stuck as any treatments need to be paid for upfront. 

So I'm trying to do my part and raise as much as I can to help my dad get the treatment and help that he needs so that he can live longer and continue being the heart of the community that he is.
