My name is Cheyenna, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my fiancé, Francisco Ceja-Mora, who is currently detained and facing deportation. I am writing this with my whole heart..not just as his partner, but as the mother of our children and the person who knows him best.

Francisco is 34 years old and has lived in the United States for nearly his entire life. He was brought here as an infant, a baby in 1991 with no say in his circumstances. This country is his only home. Everything he knows, everything he’s built, and everyone he loves is here. Deporting him now would not only rip him away from his family — it would send him to a place he doesn’t know, doesn’t understand, and has no support in.

We’ve been together since 2018 and share a life full of love and family. We have two sons together, ages 3 and 5, and Francisco has raised my daughter Haven (9) since she was just a baby. To all three of our children, he is simply Dad. He is the one who tucks them in, comforts them when they’re scared, and especially consoles our youngest when no one else can. They need him more than words can describe.

Since his detainment by ICE, our home has been filled with confusion and heartbreak. I tell our little boys that he’s on a work trip because they’re too young to understand the truth, but the pain shows in their questions and tears. Haven is old enough to realize something is wrong, and she asks every day when he’s coming home. The longer this goes on, the harder it becomes to hold everything together.

He is so much more than his current situation. He is a kind, hardworking man with a huge heart. He’s always willing to help anyone in need — our family, our friends, even strangers. His boss and coworkers love him and have been worried sick since his detainment. He has always worked tirelessly to provide for us and to be the loving father and partner we depend on. Even now, he calls every single day from detention just to make sure we’re okay, even while he’s the one suffering most.

If deported to Mexico — a country he’s never truly known — he would be completely alone. He doesn’t speak fluent Spanish, he has no support system there, and I truly fear for his safety and well-being. The thought of losing him in this way is unbearable, and the thought of our children growing up without their father is even worse.

I am asking for your help to cover the legal fees, filing costs, and everything needed to fight for Francisco to stay home with his family — where he belongs. Times are hard, and I cannot do this alone. Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward keeping our family together and giving our children the chance to grow up with the father they love so deeply.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading our story, for sharing it, and for helping in any way you can. Your support means more than I can ever put into words.

With love and gratitude,
Cheyenna
