Help Francisco After his accident

Hi, my name is Thea and my husband, Fran was involved in a bad car accident on July 31st. He was rear ended by someone going 75-80 mph while he was merging onto I-20.

Frans van is totaled and the person who hit him is not being cooperative with their insurance so this entire process is going to take much longer than expected. Meanwhile, we are home and working on healing and staying healthy. We have hired a personal injury lawyer to assist us with navigating this difficult process.

this accident has happened at the worst possible time. During an already difficult year, as a musician during a pandemic, gigs and working are far from being back to normal. we are asking for help because this entire process is going to get much more complicated. Fran being a self employed musician AND during a pandemic, it is going to be very difficult for us to prove what income he is loosing by being injured and being forced to heal at home. This is one of the reasons we hired a lawyer to help us with this.

The accident gave Fran a severe case of whiplash with possible damage to his spinal cord and his wrists and hands. The injuries are also causing his wrists pain and aggravating his tenosynovitis related to his tendon release surgery he had in 2017. We do not know when he will be well enough to return to gigging due to these complications.

on top of everything else, we have now had to cancel all doctor appointments and orthopedic, chiropractic care visits because we have tested positive for covid.

so now we are quarantined at home with neither of us working. everything is out of our hands for now- which is why we are looking to our community for help. We have many animals to take care of including our 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 8 chickens, along with running our little homestead farm and keeping everything together.

anything is so appreciated and we know that our community is so supportive.
