Help Francheska Secure a Safe Home for Her Daughters
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Francheska, and I’m a single mom doing everything I can to move my two daughters (ages 9 and 11) into a safer, more stable life.
After being laid off in January, I’ve been struggling to cover rent, utilities, and my daughters’ ongoing dental work — including braces. I’ve gone back to school for IT certification, applied for every job opening, and reached out to local support like the Salvation Army and 211 for help — but those options have been tapped out or trailing too slowly.
We were recently approved for a 2-bedroom unit through county-managed affordable housing in Texas — it’s not fancy, but it’s a fresh start. Now, we just need help making the move happen safely and affordably.
⸻
What we need (and why):
• U-Haul Containers – $2,630.85 for 3 containers to safely transport furniture, beds, and personal items
• Movers in Florida (Winter Haven) – $130 for 2 movers (2 hours) via MoverGuys
• Movers in Texas (San Benito) – $150 for 2 helpers (2 hours) via 5-Star Services
• Hotel stays – ~$200 for 2 nights (New Orleans + near San Benito)
• Gas for the drive – ~$275 to cover the multi-state trip
• Packing supplies – ~$60–100 (boxes, tape, mattress covers, etc.)
⸻
Even $5 helps bring us closer to a new chapter. If you can’t donate, please share this campaign — your voice counts.
Thank you for helping my daughters feel grounded again — for giving us a chance at peace, security, and a real future.
With love and deep gratitude,
Francheska
