Hello, my name is Kala, and I am Francesca's cousin. In November 2024, our family received the devastating news that she was diagnosed with Stage III Breast Cancer. She is only 24 years old and a driven young woman aspiring to be an optometrist. Since last year, she has been fighting hard. She has undergone multiple surgeries and finished chemotherapy. She is endlessly kind, incredibly funny, and even while battling cancer, she has remained genuine and full of love.

In early August 2025, we were heartbroken to discover that the cancer had spread to her brain. With this new information, continued treatment and care will be necessary. Francesca and our family have since switched hospitals to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, where she has been admitted into the Brain and Spine Center. She is now awaiting her doctor’s treatment plan and is hopeful for this next phase of treatment.

In addition to medical bills, our family anticipates frequent travel from California to Texas. We humbly ask for your help in raising funds for Francesca’s ongoing treatments, hospital stays, and travel expenses. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly towards helping Francesca and our family stay focused on her fight and road to recovery.
