Hi, my name is Teresa Gordon and I’m a lifelong friend of Franc and Laurie Cassar.

Franc was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer on December 26th, 2023 after a fall at work. Can you imagine falling at work and the X-ray identifies a cancerous mass? Additional tests identified other masses on his lung, neck, collar bone, and back. The origin and type of cancer is still unknown, and he is in excruciating pain and unable to work.

Testing is necessary to determine the origin and he has a biopsy, pet scan, and MRI scheduled so his oncologist can put a treatment plan together for him. Unfortunately, payment for some medical procedures to determine the origin and current location of his cancer must be PAID for up front.

I’m sure you can only imagine receiving this terrible surprise news. I hope you can find it in your heart to donate something to help Franc and Laurie, and alleviate this stressful financial burden caused by a horrible and unexpected cancer diagnosis.
