Hi, my name is Robert, and I’m raising funds for my wife, Francieli (“Fran”), the love of my life and the mother of our young daughter. Fran is currently facing a serious and urgent vascular medical condition that puts her at risk of stroke, loss of limb, or even death if she does not receive timely treatment. She has already been hospitalized and discharged while still needing surgery, due to long wait times and lack of access to the necessary materials where she is currently located. Despite the severity of her condition, Fran has been left waiting — and waiting is something her body cannot afford.
Fran needs urgent medical care in the United States, where her doctors can act quickly and safely. When she arrives, she will need emergency and follow-up medical care, surgery and hospitalization, medications and recovery support, and temporary living and transportation costs related to treatment. While emergency programs may help cover part of the hospitalization, there are many immediate and unavoidable costs that are not covered, especially during the transition period — including travel, medications, follow-up care, and basic living expenses while she recovers. I am doing everything I can as her husband and sole caregiver, but this situation has grown beyond what we can manage alone.
Fran is kind, gentle, and incredibly strong. She is the type of person who puts everyone else first — our daughter, our family, and the people around her — even while she is in pain. Watching her suffer while knowing that help exists, just out of reach, has been the hardest thing I’ve ever faced. All we want is the chance for her to receive the care she needs so she can heal, live, and continue being the amazing wife and mother she is.
