Fr Andrew Kearns, a Greek Orthodox priest currently serving in Okinawa as a Naval chaplain, has been called upon to bring the joy and blessings of the Divine Liturgy to the Orthodox faithful in Guam this Christmas. The Orthodox community in Guam does not have a resident priest or parish, and without Fr Andrew’s visit, they would not be able to celebrate the Divine Liturgy for Christmas. This visit is their only opportunity to gather together, worship, and receive the sacraments during this holy season.
Your support will help cover Fr Andrew’s travel expenses, making it possible for him to be present with the community and rightly accommodated. By helping Fr Andrew reach Guam, you are ensuring that the Orthodox faithful there can experience the fullness of their faith and celebrate Christmas in a meaningful way. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings this special celebration closer to reality for a community that would otherwise go without.
Thank you for making this possible! Your generosity is enriching the faith life of Guam’s Orthodox community, who are currently without a parish. Your kindness and prayers are deeply appreciated. God is with us!
