Hi everyone, on Saturday September 30th, 2023. Foxy fell and suffered a traumatic brain injury resulting in a seizure. We quickly gave her CPR and headed straight to UCDavis emergency Vet. Luckily, there was no wait time and they quickly took her in and started with some therapy in order to dissuade the seizures. However, they have to keep Foxy in ICU for 3-4 days in order to monitor her blood pressure, prevent furthermore seizures and oxygen levels. I was gifted Foxy in 2009. As a 6 year old, I had no idea how much of an impact would have on me. From seeing me go from elementary school to middle school. Promoting from middle school to high-school. Graduating high-school and now coming with me to start the next chapter of my life. Foxy has been there with me and I need to be there for Foxy in order to provide the support and care she needs and help bring her back home. As of right now, the total costs for Foxy’s treatment is $6,000. These costs cover examination, diagnostics, hospitalization, and her pharmacy/central service. As a college student, I am only able to provide Foxy with a minimal amount of assistance. I am grateful for any support.
