Hey, I'm Sophie! I co-own Foxtrot, a Counter-Strike 2 esports org, and I cast CS2 professionally under the name Apples, including for ESL. I'm writing this because I genuinely believe in what we're building and I want to be honest with you about where we're at. Foxtrot competes in ESEA Advanced Plus, one of the top tiers of grassroots CS2 in North America. We completely run our own broadcasts, we've hosted community tournaments, and we have a roster full of players who are putting in real hours every day because they want to make it. Ping started this org because he loves this scene, and I joined because I wanted to be part of growing it, not just as a caster but as someone with a real stake in it.
We have a spot at FRAG 20 x LVL UP EXPO in Las Vegas this April. Fragadelphia's biggest LAN ever, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It's a huge deal for us. Here's the real talk though. We're a young org and none of us have money lying around. I'm talking 7-8 people flying in from all over the country, and two players coming from Canada! We're all working regular jobs on the side of competing. Nobody here is getting paid to play CS2. We do it because we love it.
Every dollar goes straight to getting our people there. Even if we don't hit the full amount, every dollar we raise is one less dollar one of our players has to stress about. If you've ever watched a Foxtrot stream, cheered us on at a LAN, or just want to support grassroots CS2, this is how you help. It means everything to us.
