Help Fox's Den Build a Safe Outdoor Haven

Hi there. My name is Kelly Conley and together with my friend Mary Tyrie, we are raising $2,000 for Fox's Den Animal Sanctuary to help with a cover for thier outside area. Mary and I have both adopted from Fox's Den and love our little dogs so much. We wanted to support a very specific project that will help Sylvia and Fox's Den continue to care for the little dogs that come into rescue. About Fox’s Den & Sylvia

Sylvia Fox is a tireless and compassionate rescuer who is dedicated to helping little dogs in and around the Spokane, WA area through her non-profit Fox’s Den Animal Rescue. Her focus is on helping these little creatures, many of them with special needs, have a better life. To make things easier for her to take care of all these little darlings, we are raising money to get a cover (similar to carport picture shown) to allow her to keep them safe throughout the year. This will help protect from predators as a well as keep their outside area free of snow. (If you’ve ever had a little dog, you know how snow can be an issue!)

Current Situation and Challenges

Currently, Sylvia has two 12 x 12 mesh covered yards where the little rescues can be outside for fresh air while Sylvia is caring for them, allowing them to be safe and get exercise while she gets her many tasks done. These mesh covered pens have to be taken down in the winter because of the snow. This makes it difficult to get proper exercise on the snow-covered ground. The littles just don't handle it as well as a bigger dog. This project will allow her to be able to do a better job all year long for these very special dogs giving them a safe and secure yard all year long.

What we need

We have secured volunteer labor to install the cover and are estimating

$2,000 to purchase the cover and any supplies needed for install. We are hoping to get this done ASAP before the snow flies! Fox’s Den will get so much use out of this throughout the whole year and won't have to take the play yards down in the winter.

Whenever she takes in a little dog, she gets them all the vet care they need, including dentals, surgeries, and more.

And she doesn’t stop there. While working full-time, she also meticulously reviews adoption applications, does home visits, and works to make sure these little dogs have the very best homes FOREVER. Many, many people adopt from her over and over again because of the care she provides and love she shows for her rescues.
